Who We Are

Started by Kelly Frey as a result of her passion to teach dance, the studio is open to everyone, including those who, like Kelly, did not grown up with dance, but discovered its benefits a little later in life.

With a passion for dance discovered on the social dance floor, Kelly then pursued the challenge and journey of professional dancing through top level coaching from several nationally ranked and internationally known instructors and competitors. Kelly has competed successfully across the country in several dances and now holds a passion to "pass it on" by teaching others in ballroom, swing, country and Latin style dances.

Working extremely hard to continue perfecting her own dance skills, while also helping others try their "feet" on the competition floor, Kelly states her real love to be helping others learn what she worked so hard to achieve. STEP by STEP was orginally set-up to pursue this love for teaching part-time but soon grew to be a full-time dance venture that is now in it's 5th year.

Whether you have dance in our past, or have always desired to learn, STEP BY STEP is for singles and couples to discover dance and ALL of it's benefits - exercise, social interaction, relationship building, stress relief, recreation, mind sharpness, coordination and flexibility growth (just to name a few!).

Together with her dance instructing partner, Dwight Gold, the two hold a combination of over 30 years in dance, competition and teaching instruction.

Dwight and Kelly both have a love for God and for people, plus the desire for STEP BY STEP to be a place where, through dancing, they can serve both!
