If you had to choose just one dance, swing would be it!!! For versatility and high energy fun, the West and East Coast Swing are both winners at the ballroom dances, weddings, cruises and clubs all across the globe.

At STEP BY STEP DANCE we teach them both. We offer group lessons every session for both WEST COAST and EAST COAST SWING and offer privates as well. This is a super dance to grab a group of your favorite friends for and schedule some lessons all at the same time.

Lending itself to a circular pattern and triple count beat, EAST COAST SWING is a dance that has JITTERBUG roots and has been around in various forms for a long time. It's sister dance, the WEST COAST SWING works in a more linear slotted fashion, and can take on a sleeker slower tone to it when put with a R&B tune.
